Things to Do
Despite being a small town with fewer than 1,500 residents, Fraser hosts many fun annual events. The community kicks off the new year with the Fraser Fire & Ice Festival hosted at the Fraser River Valley Lions Club Pond. The main attraction is the bonfire fueled by old Christmas trees from the past holiday season. Throughout the summer, Fraser hosts the Summer Concert Series, which takes place every Tuesday at Old Schoolhouse Park. During the first weekend in August, The Fraser Mountain Mural Festival brings artists from all over the country to compete by creating a mural in two days based on the chosen theme. In the fall, the entirety of Grand County celebrates Oktoberfest, featuring three breweries from Fraser: Camber Brewing Company, Fraser River Beer Company, and Vicious Cycle Brewing Company.
There is also plenty to do year-round, such as taking a hot air balloon ride at Grand Adventures Balloon Tours or enjoying the Fraser Rodeo. Another popular destination in the winter is the historic Fraser Tubing Hill, where residents of all ages can go tubing.
